A three week course that is designed for past participants of the Advanced Diabetes Management Course - but open to anyone interested in diabetes care updates.

Course Content

Webinars (Weeks 1-3):

Three webinars covering new diagnostic changes for type 2 diabetes and prediabetes
Updates on SGLT2 inhibitors
Updates on GLP-1 & GLP-1/GIP receptor agonists (Semaglutide & Terzepatide)
Insulin access and availability changes
Updates on Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and Insulin Pumps with Automated Insulin Delivery (AID)
Updates on cardiovascular risk management & diabetes complication management

Each webinar will include case studies & live Q&A. There will be recordings available.

CME

The course will be endorsed by RNZCGP & College of Nurses Aotearoa. Our intention is to provide 5 hours of CME.

Once you’ve completed all webinars and MCQs, you will be able to download a certificate.

Fellows of RNZCGP will need to provide their MCNZ number to have their CME automatically uploaded at the end of the course.
